Our Team
Nice to meet you!
David Dymond
Principal & Founder
David graduated with a Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University. After multiple internships in Texas and Boston, Massachusetts, he moved to Baltimore in 2003 and fell in love with the city. Having grown up in a military family living all over the U.S. and abroad, he draws from his global experiences yet enjoys having established a place to call home to focus his efforts on. David believes that good architecture is a true blend between art and science, working in macro and micro scales, and providing for the needs and goals of the client and users. Before founding Dymond, David was the Studio Director at a large, international firm, and his expertise is in commercial office buildings, mixed-use, multifamily residential, retail, Government, and funky “one-off” projects. In addition, David is highly active in community engagement, cultural impact projects, and “giving back” through Industry Organizations
Morgan Failla
Project Architect
Morgan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Architecture. Her extensive travels and study abroad during school through the Middle East and Europe greatly influenced her understanding, style, and passion for design. Following school, Morgan accepted a job offer with a large, international firm in their Houston office. Three years later, she transferred to their Baltimore office where she worked with David in his studio. Her portfolio of experience includes workplace, laboratories, adaptive reuse, and sports & recreation. Currently, Morgan lives in Denver, CO and contributes to Dymond projects. Having a soft spot and pride for her hometown, she is excited about affecting positive change at a local, neighborhood level in Baltimore through design.

Testimonials
What our clients say about us:
We are a client and user driven architecture firm and emphasize that we are in the service industry. Nothing makes us happier than a successful project and a happy client.
Dymond has been a true partner in the pursuit of having a positive impact on the City of Baltimore. They are hyper responsive to our needs and come up with creative architectural solutions for solving problems. They have helped us with projects in the past, and we are excited to partner with them on the future Bromo Seltzer Tower renovation, The Boulevard Theatre, and more to come.
I have had the opportunity to work with David over a range of projects both large and small, what has always been the theme of working with the team at Dymond has been their great focus on client relationships, ability to execute at a high level on projects of varying scales, and ability to tackle new challenges with a solution oriented approach. What we look for in a team is a client focused approach with a design solution oriented approach. Dymond always has my back, and I know I can count on their team to help drive value in the work we do.
Our firm hired David as our architect for the redevelopment of a 34,000 sf. historic slaughterhouse, into a mixed-use community hub. Our project was incredibly complex and David's creativity and ability to use design to solve key problems was immensely valuable. With David's help, we were able to secure the Competitive State and Federal Historic Tax Credits, which were an integral part of bringing this project to life.
